Sombr Scores Double Hot 100 Hits with “Back to Friends” & “Undressed”

At just 19, alt‑rock newcomer Sombr (Shane Boose) is making major waves: not one, but two simultaneous Billboard Hot 100 entries. “Back to Friends” first broke into the chart in April, and its follow‑up “Undressed” quickly joined the party a week later. Both tracks started with a viral moment on TikTok and now top the Alternative Airplay chart—“Back to Friends” even hit No. 1  .

Sombr captured “Undressed” almost in a single restless night—drums, bassline, guitar, vocals—and when he leaked it online, the reaction was immediate. He rushed to San Francisco’s legendary Sound City to polish it with producer Tony Berg, then watched it skyrocket to No. 25 on the Hot 100 .

Now, the Toronto‑born artist is hitting the road with The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour—some venues have already been upgraded or sold out.
